2012 “Pre-Spring Fling” Winemaker Dinner

Please join us for our “Pre-Spring Fling” Winemaker Dinner on Friday, February 10th to take place the night before our two-day “Pre-Spring Fling” event. The Winemaker Dinner will feature the wonderful cuisine of Tolay, the Sheraton Sonoma County – Petaluma’s signature restaurant and recipient of the Wine Spectator’s prestigious Award of Excellence. Dinner guests will enjoy world-class dishes as well as award-winning Roche wines while savoring views of the Petaluma River. Of course, following this wonderful, five-course meal, why not just stay the night and take advantage of the Sheraton Roche customer-only room specials? Then, the next day you are invited to attend our annual “Pre-Spring Fling” barrel-tasting event (details below) which will take place at our Petaluma production facility just five minutes down the road from the Sheraton! Tolay Executive Chef, Danny Mai, our Winemaker, Michael Carr, and the Roche family will be your hosts for the evening. $79 per person, advanced reservations for the Winemaker Dinner are required, space is limited. Civil War Days, Duncan Mills, CA

Come on out for “Civil War Days”, an annual two-day living history experience held at Casini Ranch (Duncan Mills, CA) that will transport you to a turbulent era in American history, one which pits brother and brother and State against State. The event is Northern California’s largest Civil War reenactment and one of the largest reenactments west of the Mississippi and is put on by the California Historical Artillery Society (CHAS). Travel back in time to circa 1863. The spirit and history of this period will be dramatically portrayed by soldiers, from both the Union and Confederate encampments and view authentic camp life and war horsemanship in an atmosphere highlighted by equipment from the Civil War era.
