Solely fermented in stainless steel with no malolactic fermentation, the result is a light, crisp Chardonnay with notes of green apple and peach followed by bright flavors of nectarine and lemon zest. SILVER - 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition

Coming from two 12-year old blocks on the Roche properties, this Pinot Noir is rich with aromas of black cherries, strawberries and vanilla followed by bright sweet flavors of chocolate covered cherries and spice.
Bright aromas and flavors of raspberry, cherry and strawberry with a hint of spice on the finish. Like our 2012, this Merlot is from three different areas of the cool Carneros region which gives this wine an amazing color, flavor, and a high acid level that are all major factors in making this wine very age-able.
Made from grapes grown in Bennett Valley that were allowed to remain on the vines to achieve perfect ripeness: very wrinkled, sweet, and with great flavors. The hardy, dark-skinned grapes were crafted into a wine dark in color with generous tannins making this wine able to be aged for many years. Dark aromas of plum, boysenberry, and smoke abound, and much of the same flavors are there but also has black pepper and smoky, gamey, meaty characters that Syrah often has. GOLD MEDAL- 2017 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
Shows pretty aromas of melon, peach, apple and citrus blossom with hints of caramel and butterscoth from the American oak barrels. The flavors follow through of citrus, peach, apple, melon and Meyer lemon as well as a creamy finish.
This is the 26th vintage produced by Roche Winery. The mild weather during the growing season combined with an optimal location for a Pinot Noir vineyard made for an ideal growing environment for high-quality, flavorful grapes. Aromas are of black cherry, black currants, plums and spices. Flavors are abundant with black currant, star anise and other spice with a good acidity and moderately high tannins. SILVER - 2016 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition
Harvested from three vineyards in the Carneros region, this wine features bright aromas and flavors of black cherry, red currant, lingonberry jam and a touch of smoky toast and cedar. This rich, mouth filling wine should age well for many years due to the moderate tannins and a bright acidity.
This is simply the best Pinot Noir we have ever made! A celebration of Roche Winery matriarch and co-founder, Genevieve Roche (1939-2012), this Pinot Noir was crafted by her favorite winemaker, Michael Carr, in an extremely small lot of only eight total barrels. A “first ever,” this cuvée was aged for 22 months in the finest 100% French Oak barrels the Roche family could source. A complex but yet balanced wine, you will enjoy deep aromas and flavors of dark cherry, plum and blackberry and moderate tannins allowing this wine to cellar for several years to come.
Our Late Harvest Merlot is full of lush wild berry and cherry on the nose and delivers a memorable silken finish. We cannot pick these grapes or craft this wine unless we experience the perfect conditions late in Fall of mild weather and little rainfall. (375ml)
