Jennifer Brons
Account Manager
Prior to becoming an Account Manager, Jennifer briefly worked in our Tasting Room. We quickly recognized her enthusiasm for wine and courteous manner made her a great match for looking after our customers' concerns. Jennifer can be found busy answering phones and emails at Roche on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. When not at Roche, Jennifer pursues many creative passions including dancing, singing, painting and acting. Her traveling bug recently took her to India. Email: jennifer@rochewinery.com
Joe Gerace
Account Manager
Joe Gerace worked as a stock broker for 18 years, then spent 8 years working in importing. A portion of which Joe coordinated the largest shipment of peanuts from China into the US each year for five years. Joe also imported wine, primarily from Argentina and Australia. When not working at Roche Winery, Joe stays busy taking care of his two young children while trying to fit in time for his favorite hobbies of cooking, traveling, reading and, of course, wine. David Gistelli
Account Manager
One of the newest members to our team, David Gistelli was a caterer for 20 years and still assists with his wife's wedding planning company. His carefree and happy demeanor keeps us all entertained on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. When not at Roche, David works for a gourmet mushroom company that distributes to restaurants on the West Coast. David also plays the drums in a local band, once an occupation he pursued for 10 years professionally. You'll often hear him drumming a beat on his desk between phone calls. Darrell Andrews
Restaurant Sales
A veteran at Roche Winery, Darrell has worked behind the bar in our Tasting Room and as an Account Manager so you might recognize him from one of your past visits. His attention to detail and dedication to Roche is perfect for attending to our many restaurant accounts. Outside of enjoying the release of each new Roche vintage, Darrell is a culinary enthusiast who likes teaching others about cooking and preparing special dishes for family and friends. Carrie MacDonough
Carneros Club Coordinator
Carrie MacDonough is a recent graduate of UC Santa Cruz majoring in Environmental Studies. She brings with her experience from a small, family owned winery in the Santa Cruz mountains, Windy Oaks Estate. Terri Jackson
Controller
Terri began at Roche in 2007 effortlessly taking on major responsibilities, from making sure our licensing for all our wines is in order to keeping every line of operation on budget. Terri has proved a great addition to our staff with her contagious laughter. Terri likes us to think she lives a quiet life, but you can often find her riding a motorcycle through the wine country. Her knitting abilities have kept several staff members' feet warm this winter!
Jason Klein
Director of Marketing & Sales
Prior to joining Roche a few years back, Jason marketed baseball bats for Easton Sports, SuperDuty F-Series trucks for Ford, and even wine for E&J Gallo. Now working for a smaller, family-run winery, he is extremely happy and will tell you he has found his "dream job" at Roche. Full of energy, you will often see Jason running around the winery to help with this or that. Jason's favorite Roche wine? "Our Roche Carneros Estate Merlots - always full of fruit! My wife and I just love them."
Peter Kruse
Associate Winemaker
New to Roche in 2006, Peter grew up working in his family's small winery in Gilroy, CA. Looking for a change, he brewed beer for Gordon Biersch for five years. His most recent experience was as winemaker at Story Winery in Amador County where he also worked for five years. One can always find Peter busy in the barrel room tending to our wines. Aside from making wine, Peter enjoys traveling with his wife. His quiet sense of humor and adventurous gastronomic tastes will surprise you.
Marco Alvarez
Shipping Manager
The newest addition to Roche's staff, Marco sees to it that that every Roche order shipped has been properly and carefully packaged in his daily shipping tasks. His calm demeanor comes in handy when dealing with complicated shipping issues. When not dutifully packing our customers' orders Marco spends his time producing and filming independent films. By the way, he's a champion martial arts fighter but you wouldn't know it by his quiet demeanor.
