Join us for a friendly Mah Jongg game day in our Sonoma Winery barrel room!

Settle in at your table for our expert American Mah Jongg crew to lead you in a two-session game event. Your ticket price includes food by Aunt Momo’s, a glass of wine and the chance to make new friends with fellow Mah Jongg enthusiasts. Players must bring their 2025 Mah Jongg card.

Experienced players only. Players must bring their 2025 Mah Jongg card. Ticket price includes equipment to play, one complimentary glass of wine, and light bites prepared by Mara Roche of Aunt Momo’s. Additional wine/beer available for purchase.


 The event takes place in our barrel room, a cool, temperature-controlled environment. We recommend dressing warmly. This event is geared toward players familiar with the game and its rules,  with a relaxed and fun atmosphere!

1 pm Games Begin

Event Highlights:

  • Format: We will play two rounds of American Mah Jongg. Games begin promptly at 1 pm, with a break at 2:15 pm, followed by a second round at 2:45 pm. Must be available to play the entire afternoon, no drop-ins allowed.

  • Experience Required: Participants must have experience playing American Mah Jongg. Players must bring their 2025 Mah Jongg card. Each player will keep their score on a provided scoresheet.

  • The Social Break: A break occurs part way through the afternoon, which includes complimentary light bites from Mara Roche of Aunt Momo’s, plus time for socializing and wine tasting (wine available for purchase).

  • Prizes: While non-competitive, we will still offer prizes for the top players of the day!

  • Seating is Limited. RSVP required.

 Important Registration Requirement
All participants MUST possess and display the current year's official card from the
National Mah-Jongg League (NMJL). This card is essential for play and scoring in American Mah-Jongg.
